The EPA requires air emissions monitoring to be completed by an ISO 17025 organisation that:

1. Has qualified personnel – currently MCERTS Level 2 qualifications with relevant   technical endorsements.
2. Has approved reference methods that meet the requirements of Air Guidance document 2
3. Has any subsequent analysis completed in an accredited laboratory with accreditation for the analysis and matrix being analysed.
4. Has reporting systems that comply with the requirements of ISO 17025 for calculations, uncertainty of measurement, drift, converter and impinger efficiencies.
