Low Range Pesticides Testing in Water
Fitz Scientific offer a full range of accredited pesticide testing, to ISO 17025:2017 in drinking water, groundwater and surface water. In house methods have been developed using the latest technical advances in liquid chromatography and gas chromatography.
We used triple quadrupole GC - MS/MS for accurate mass detection. Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is a variant of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and is a fundamental analytical technique used to separate complex mixtures of organic compounds. It combines quadrupole precursor ion selection and a high resolution accurate mass Orbitrap mass analyser, with mass spectrometric detection in multiple reaction monitoring mode.
This ensures a very high certainty on compound detection and very low limits of detection in the ranges of 1 to 30 ng/L ie parts per trillion detection levels.
