Fitz Scientific - Nutritional and Food Chemistry


Fitz Scientific offer an extensive range of food chemistry testing services including full nutritional testing for product labelling, speciated sugar analysis to support product formulation and sugar‑free classification, fatty acid profiling, and fat determination using both NMR and Gerber methods.


Our Drogheda laboratory supports R&D and NPD teams within the food industry in the provision of fast, accurate results. We also offer a comprehensive suite of allergen tests including Gluten, Milk, BLG and Casein.

 

Over the past year, our team has also focused on developing new methods for B‑vitamin analysis. We now have validated testing for Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, Folic Acid, and Cyanocobalamin.


Fitz Scientific is also currently working to further develop vitamin testing services for Vitamin C, along with a full suite of fat‑soluble vitamins: A, D, E, and K.


Once launched, these services will give customers access to an even broader range of vitamin testing with us, making it easier and more efficient to get the product’s nutritional profile.
