Fitz Scientific is a leading environmental monitoring and testing company based in Drogheda Co. Louth. Our mission is to be a world class monitoring and testing team, that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. We have grown significantly in recent years and have an ambitious development plan for the next 5 years.


We have a position for a Sales Executive to add to our team. The role is responsible for driving revenue by identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Sales Executive

· Building technical knowledge and understanding of customer testing requirements

· Identifying potential customers and developing strategies to generate leads.

· Reach customers through various channels including cold calling and email campaigns

· Arranging meetings with and making outbound calls to new customers

· Responding to sales inquiries from website lead generation forms

· Building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

· Generating new business in both Irish and overseas markets

· Issuing quotations for new business

· Follow up and track progress on previous quotes

· Feedback requests from customers for new services to Business Development Manager

· Tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and forecasting future sales.

· Handover new business to Customer Service team

· Meet or exceed individual and sales team targets.

· Attendance at trade events and industry seminars

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Ensuring customers get      what they want on time.

  • Liaise with Customer      Services on a regular basis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing

  • 2/3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and present solutions.

  • Good commercial awareness.

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.

  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

  • Good IT skills.

  • Strong numerical skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Fluent      in English both written and spoken.

  • A      good team player and works well in a team environment.

  • Highly organised, with good time management skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Good negotiating and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

  • Ability to adapt and be resilient.

  • Full clean driving license

Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland
