Fitz Scientific is a leading environmental monitoring and testing company based in Drogheda Co. Louth. Our mission is to be a world class monitoring and testing team, that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. We are seeking to recruit an Sales Executive for our growing business.

Sales Executive
  • Fully understand our service, test offering, customer types, and reasons for testing

  • Building technical knowledge and understanding of customer testing requirements

  • Generate leads

  • Reach customers through various channels including cold calling and email campaigns

  • Arranging meetings with and making outbound calls to new customers

  • Responding to sales inquiries from website lead generation forms

  • Building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

  • Generating new business in both Irish and overseas markets

  • Issuing quotations for new business

  • Follow up and track progress on previous quotes

  • Feedback requests from customers for new services to Business Development Manager

  • Handover new business to Customer Service team

  • Achieving sales targets as per business plan

  • Assisting with online marketing and online sales generation

  • Contribute content for newsletter and other customer updates

  • Assist with advertising campaigns

  • Attendance at trade events and industry seminars

  • Review sales performance

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Ensuring customers get what they want on time.

  • Offering customers new services as required

  • Liaise with Customer Services on a regular basis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing

  • 2/3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Good commercial awareness.

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.

  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

  • Good IT skills.

  • Strong numerical skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.

  • A good team player and works well in a team environment.

  • Highly organised, with good time management skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Good negotiating and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

  • Full clean driving license


Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland
