Validation Update - Free & Total Cyanide in Water

Fitz Scientific announce the successful completion of method validation for the determination of free and total cyanide in potable, ground and surface water. This development represents a significant enhancement of our water-testing service offering.

The method has been validated in accordance with ISO 14403‑2:2012, using continuous-flow analyser technology, enabling reliable quantification across a testing range of 4–250 µg/L. This capability ensures compliance with relevant EU drinking, surface and groundwater regulatory requirements.

We expect formal accreditation approval to be granted in 2025, further strengthening our credentials in advanced water-analysis services.
